Dwayne Johnson Stars as the Anti-Hero Black Adam in the New Trailer for DC’s

In a brand-new, high-octane trailer, “Black Adam,” portrayed by Dwayne Johnson, is given an even more in-depth look for fans of DC Comics. In the film, Dwayne Johnson plays the role of “Black Adam,” a strong anti-hero and the sworn enemy of Shazam, a character who was portrayed by Zachary Levi in a 2019 origin movie and in the planned sequel, “Shazam: Fury of the Gods,” which is scheduled to be released in 2020. On July 29, “Black Adam” will finally be made available for purchase after being in production for more than a decade. Johnson was going to make his debut in the DC world as Black Adam in the 2019 film “Shazam;” however, his part was cut after the spinoff for his character was approved in 2017.

In October of 2021, Johnson unveiled a first look at the film on Twitter. The image featured Black Adam escaping incarceration after he had been held captive for 5,000 years. In the video that was released in October, Johnson could be heard saying that “this character, this picture, and this world has been a tremendous passion project of mine for a very long time.” “And if you want to know the truth, I was destined to play this role”

Cast

In addition, the film will reveal members of the Justice Society of America, which is a legendary organization very similar to the Justice League. Aldis Hodge will play the role of Hawkman, Noah Centineo will act as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell will act as Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan will play Doctor Fate in the superhero ensemble.
