Robyn Griggs: A Soap Opera and Film Actress Died at 49

 Robyn Griggs, a television and film star best famous for her parts on the Serial Dramas “Another World” and “One Life To Live,” killed off at the age of 49.

The sad news was announced Saturday afternoon on the star’s official Facebook page.

 “Good day, everyone.” “I am saddened to announce Robyn’s death with a heavy heart,” the post began. “However, she is no longer in pain and would like us to remember that, as well as the good memories.” How receptive she was of my hearing her tale and how candidly she shared it stays with me to this day. she was of my assistance in telling it. She felt compelled to share the information in order to aid others. about telling her tale so. It was an honor for me. “RIP, my friend, I love you and smile when I think of you.” 

Griggs, who married golf pro Mark Wiley in 2013, was open with friends and fans about her health issues, as she was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer in 2020 and recently revealed that she had developed four new tumors. 

“I have four new tumors.” “I have two new tumors on my liver, one on my abdominal muscle, and a large one on my right side lymph node,” Griggs wrote on her Instagram account on July 7. “I’m in a lot of pain, and I’m going to chemo Monday morning.” I told them whatever it took. I’m ready to fight.”

The account also confirms that the actress entered hospice care on Aug. 11, just two days before her death.

Griggs appeared in six episodes of “One Life to Live” in 1991. She went on to play Maggie Cory on “Another World” for two years. She later appeared in films such as 2003’s “Severe Injuries” and 2010’s “Hellweek.”
