Later, a video showing Jolie dancing the Electric Slide to Cameo’s “Candy” with Spelman’s parents and receiving a high five from one of them emerged on TikTok. The video was first uploaded on the prominent HBCU site Watch the Yard.

A voice can be heard announcing on the post that “Angelina Jolie is studying the Electric Slide with Spelman and Morehouse alumnae in Los Angeles.” The post has received more than 25,000 likes.

Angelina Jolie and her daughter were taught how to do the electric slide by graduates of Morehouse College and Spelman College during an event held in Los Angeles.

This autumn, Zahara Pitt, whose father is Academy Award winner Brad Pitt, and the other students in her first year won’t be the only ones to see fresh faces at Spelman.

Gayle has said that she hopes to improve Spelman’s recent attempts to expand the number of classes and resources available to students majoring in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics
