Bakhtawar A Pakistani Drama serial being Compared with Parizaad
Galaxy Lollywood

This new Pakistani drama serial, Bakhtawar is catching eyes of the massive audience. But the point is, it is being compared with Parizaad, the former serial. Onscreen actresses used to only be allowed to play roti dhoti becharis. It is indisputable that our patriarchal society continues to love watching such material nowadays. As a result, in order to get high TRPs, the downtrodden lady formula is used in seven out of ten dramas. On the other hand, some performers have defied these prejudices and embraced parts that test and refine their profession.

Parizaad and Bakhtawar are compared by fans

Yumna Zaidi is one such actress that consistently astounds spectators with her flawless performances in each film. In her most recent film, Bakhtawar, she plays a bold lead character determined to achieve her goals despite all obstacles.

Bakhtawar: The Lifetime Role:

The second episode’s director (Shahid Shafaat) kept a steady pace after the first was haphazard and moved quickly. Instead of dealing with a few problems, he contrasted it with Bakhtawar’s difficulties in finding employment. She is unwilling to put in twelve hours a day of labour for only 700 rupees.

She is turned down in her interviews one after the other. Additionally, she sees vile males who will do anything to harass women when she accepts a job as a bus hostess. In order to fight the chauvinistic society, Bakhtawar disguises herself as a man towards the end of the episode, leaving viewers hanging.

It wouldn’t be inaccurate to state that Yumna left us in amazement in Bakhtawar, the most difficult job of her career. She satisfies every scene’s requirements like a fish to water. When necessary, she wears no makeup and looks stunning. She makes the audience happy when she is joyful and sad when she is helpless. And Yumna impresses in each and every frame, which is the mark of a good performer. We are eagerly awaiting the next two episodes.

Comparing Parizaad:

The comparison of Bakhtawar to Ahmed Ali Akbar’s Parizaad sparked a lively discussion on Twitter. The premise somewhat but not exactly matches Parizaad’s. For instance, the protagonist is the only focus of the plot, while the rest of the characters only serves to advance the story.

The bottom line:

If we examine prior events, Parizaad likewise picked up after a sluggish beginning and developed into a wrath. As previously stated, Yumna appears to be playing the part of a lifetime. Ahmed Ali Akbar experienced a similar situation, with Parizaad recently becoming as an iconic figure. So, the inevitable question arises: Will Bakhtawar repeat the past?
