It would be a reasonable assumption to say that Billie Eilish looked to be living her dream from outside looking in. The budding musician is leading the charge for upcoming musicians all across the world by consistently shattering music chart records. On her song “Everything I Wanted,” Eilish demonstrated how the sad fact of fame is vastly different as the one that is represented on social media.

One of Billie Eilish’s saddest songs, “Fame and Depression,”

The disagreement she used to have with her older brother as well as composer, Finneas, gave rise to the song, which was published as a stand-alone single. Writing the lyrics allowed Eilish to let everything out and openly accept that she was having difficulties despite her successful career. The act of writing “Everything I Wanted” was cathartic and therapeutic, giving the artist space to address her own circumstances.

We had this major dispute, Eilish said in a statement to The Times.

As a result of anything I admitted that I was, um… I was acknowledging it wasn’t a physical issue. I don’t understand how to say it without saying it out loud, and I don’t want to. But I was being clean about something quite serious—my depression. I was confessing that I was preparing to take a pretty major move.

Eilish was underwater when the song “I tried to scream, But my head was underwater” was recorded. She told Zane Lowe why she chose to pursue that procedure: “It was like, you can’t not. My head was beneath, we were saying as we sat there, we were like, “Wait, wait.” This is our opportunity.

Finneas also gave his viewpoint on how the song came to be, noting that they didn’t work together on the lyrics like they do on most of their songs. He let Eilish handle the rest while concentrating on the music. Like giving an addict another beer in terms of music, he said, “I’m not going to help this.”

This song seemed like it was being created in real-time, and I thought. “This is something we’ve needed to write on the opposite side of this mountain. ” He continued: “A lot of compositions are written in retrospect. This is a reality we must deal with. You can’t always find a song to fix your issues.

The song is about Eilish dealing with her issues head-on

The fantasy I had came true. all What I needed, Not what you’d imagine. If I’m being really forthright, it probably was a nightmare for everyone who gave a hoot, the lines that follow are especially moving.

We are realizing as a culture that no one is free from mental health issues. No issue how many zero are visible in their bank account, the invisible sickness has the power to drag anyone to the ground. Billie Eilish candor on “Everything I Wanted” has advanced the conversation. Also will undoubtedly benefit many others who are going through a similar struggle.
