BTS has Officially Announced their Korean Military Services

BTS enlists.All seven members of the group must complete a mandatory mission to South Korea, military services which requires all able-bodied men to serve 18-21 months before their 31st birthday. It’s December.

The announcement was on the band’s social media pages after a free concert on Saturday (10/15/22) in support of South Korea’s bid for the Busan World Expo.
The group was thinking to be exempt from military service Hwang Hee, Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of South Korea. Because they were already well famous in their own country through their phenomenal worldwide success and their Olympians and other exceptional citizens. Classical musicians were allowed.
However, the plan seems to have now been withdrawn due to opposition from many who left the ministry for the military services.
