Changing Attributes in Saudi Arabia:

It is only a few years ago that Saudi Arabia was considered the most conservative country in the world. It was not open for tourism or any kind of entertainment. The only entertainment for its citizens was the desert surrounding the whole country, but now almost a year ago vast changes in Saudi Arabia have been seen regarding entertainment and tourism.

1. Women Driving:

It was a kind of taboo that women go outside without her husband, even in restaurants she cannot give order if she is alone, but now she can not only go alone in any place but also she can drive herself and can stay outside the house as long as she wants. Its been a year since a driving license has been issued to a woman. Women are happy to see changing Saudi Arabia as they got more opportunities.

2. Concerts:

For a long time, there were only two music festivals a year — one at the Muftaha Theater in Abha and another at Jeddah’s Summer Concerts until they were both discontinued. The final open concert in Riyadh was in 1992 at the Al-Janadriyah festival, however, as per changes in Saudi Arabia, the last open performance in Riyadh is no longer possible. The Grammy-winning singer will perform at the International Arena Boulevard Plus for one night only, delivering his distinct vocals, captivating rhythms, and dancehall and reggae vibes. 3. Costume party in Riyadh:

On Thursday, participants dressed up as Hollywood superheroes, Disney stars, or anime characters for the first event. 5. There is no requirement to wear an abaya:

With the ascension of youthful Prince Mohammad Bin Salman to power, the country has seen more opportunities for women, including the decision to permit women to go to public gatherings freely.

6. Improved tourism accessibility:

Saudi Arabia has been working hard to diversify its economy away from oil over the last few years. Visitors to Saudi Arabia were previously limited to those with visas who are in business or for those coming for religious activities like umrah and hajj, and expatriate workers, but as the requirement of changing Saudi Arabia,  it was decided to release tourist visas in 2019 and to enable travelers with existing US, UK, and Schengen Area visas in 2020. The country’s attractiveness as a tourist destination has already been greatly increased as a result of this plan. It’s the target of the kingdom to gather 100 million tourists by 2030.
