1. Family history or genetically
2. Obesity
3. Age above 45 years

• GESTATIONAL:
This type develops in patients during pregnancy. Furthermore, It makes the patient less sensitive to insulin. There are approx. 2-10% of women ended up into gestational diabetes during their pregnancies. Similarly, Women with overweight having pregnancy increases its risk very high. This can lead to type 2 of diabetes later.
Other risks include. for example:
1. Increased birth weight
2. Risk of type 2 of diabetes in baby
3. Premature birth
• Pre-diabetes:
It is a borderline between diabetic and non-diabetic. In this no proper diagnosis happens. For diagnosis patient should went through this whole process, for example:
1. Tolerance level of blood glucose is 140 to 199 per (mg/dl)
2. A1C test results in 5.7 to 6.4%
3. Fasting glucose level is in middle of 100 to 125 mg/dl
