Emotional intelligence or EI is a type of human intelligence. But do you know what is it? Similarly, It might seem strange or unique but it is the most common trait of every human. In fact, Emotional intelligence is a person’s ability to comprehend his and others situation and mental state as well. Furthermore, It is probably about self awareness and social communication. Moreover, According to Psychology, EI has five components which are:
- Self-Awareness
- Self-Regulation
- Empathy
- Motivation
- Social Skills
Emotional intelligence varies in every human. Some may experience it very low or some at a high rate likewise.
Signs of Low EI:
There are many prominent signs that shows a person lacks emotional intelligence:
- If a person gets argumentive in everything, he might have low emotional intelligence. Similarly, They don’t bother to understand and value others opinions.
- A person with low emotional intelligence, tends to blame others . Furthermore, They think of themselves as the perfect beings.
- A person might feel contineous emotional outbursts as well.

How to Improve EI:
1. Empathy:
It is a feeling of being on someone else’s shoes. Similarly, This is basically a feeling of understanding others pain.
2. Be a Good Listener:
Try to be the best listener. Similarly, Listen to others instead of telling about yourself. Furthermore, It will give them a feeling that there is someone who is close to them and listens as well.
3. Be Motivated:
Similarly, for motivating others, you first need to motivate yourself. But the question is how to do so? There should be a type of personality that will impress others and will inturn motivate them. Moreover, Motivated People set defined goals and resileince as well.
