Sun is the largest star of our solar system. It is the hottest one. Everything in the universe, has some advantages and some disadvantages. Nothing is out of balance. Sun is one of them. No doubt, it’s extremely hot but on the other hand, full of benefits that you can’t deny. People of old times were physically active and healthy. Why? What was the reason behind this? Yes, that’s because of sun rays. They used to work under the sun, they preferred to walk instead of using vehicles, for hours which is the main reason for their good health. Modern technology has changed everything. It is making us lazy and physically inactive. We can reach anything through just a mere click. People are making life more complicated. They like to prepare and apply a face mask or take a supplement at home but don’t want to avail the natural source in the form of Sun.

Sun also increases our levels of melatonin. It is a sleep hormone that helps us sleep on time and wake up. You might have observed sleeping jerks while enjoying sun bath. Why is it so? Obviously because of sun. so, Melatonin induces sleep.

It is a mood hormone. Serotonin send messages to your brain regarding mood swings. It is made through the retina of a human’s eye. So sun induces your mood swings and emotions through the production of Serotonin.

The rays also help millions of cancer patients. Is benefits relieves risks of cancer and treat the patients.
Weight Loss:
It is also a source of burning extra calories and loosing weight. When you take long walks under sun, you sweat, which burns the extra fat of your body.

Excessive exposing your body to sunlight can cause pigmentation and sunburns on your skin. These are the various patches on your skin due to these rays.
Causes Dehydration:
Dehydration is a condition of dizziness and lack of water content in your body. When the hot rays hit your head, they can make you to feel faint and ultimately leads to dehydration.
Damages Eyes:
Exposing too much under sun, can harm your eyes. As your pupil contracts under these sharp rays, making it difficult to form images of various things. This in turn damages your eyes.

Sun rays are both beneficial and harmful. We should fix a normal amount of time for being under the sun. Excess of everything is bad.
