These factors increase their danger with the presence of auxiliary factors such as smoking and drinking alcohol, as these factors cause damage to the DNA of the esophagus. The study included about 456,000 people in China, aged between 30 and 79.

At the beginning of the study

people filled out a questionnaire about the number of times they drank tea, the type of tea and its temperature, and it was found that people who consumed alcohol or tobacco cigarettes had higher rates of cancer, compared to other people.

It is worth noting that the study singled out the category of smokers and alcoholics, and they are the category that should stop drinking hot tea, while people who do not take alcohol can drink it safely without worrying about cancer.

Bottom-line

And when the researchers singled out the study on drinking hot tea, this does not mean that drinking any other hot drinks does not cause what drinking hot tea does, but rather those drinks have the same effect, so doctors advise all tea lovers in China and the United States of America, and all over the world to leave  Hot drinks cool slightly before drinking them.
