J-Hope making history
J-Hope will make history as the first South Korean musician to headline the main stage at a major music festival in the United States. J-Hope of BTS is scheduled to perform as the headlining act on Lollapalooza’s main stage on Sunday, marking a momentous occasion for the festival (July 31). This will be the first time that a South Korean musician has headlined the main stage at a major event in the United States.
Doja Cat not performing
Doja Cat, who is best known for her hit single “Woman,” announced in May that she would be unable to perform due to a medical condition involving her tonsils that required surgery. As a result, J-Hope will take Doja Cat’s place on the lineup. Doja Cat had previously planned to tour with The Weeknd and perform at festival dates this summer. “Hi, guys. The procedure itself is normal, however, because to the swelling, the recuperation will take quite some time. I have a terrible feeling about this, but I can’t wait for it to heal so I can go back to composing music and providing an experience for all of you.”

TOMORROW X TOGETHER
In addition, TOMORROW X TOGETHER will be playing at the four-day event, which will serve as their maiden performance at a festival in the United States. TOMORROW X TOGETHER just achieved their third No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales list with the publication of their newest project, titled Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child, which was released not too long ago (dated May 28).
From the 28th through the 31st of July, Lollapalooza will take place at Grant Park in Chicago. Tickets for one day or all four days, General Admission Plus, VIP, and Platinum levels, as well as Destination Experience Hotel Packages, are all up for grabs right here. Free admission is granted to children under the age of 10 when accompanied by a paying adult.
