The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has revealed the cause of death for James Caan.
On the actor’s official Twitter account, his family announced his death earlier in July.
“It is with great sadness that we inform you of Jimmy’s passing on the evening of July 6,” reads the tweet. “The family appreciates the outpouring of love and heartfelt condolences and asks that their privacy be respectful during this difficult time.”
