“There is nothing you can say to persuade me,” she said.
Jennette McCurdy’s book

I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette McCurdy’s book, which was published this week, is an autobiography in which she discusses her time spent as a child celebrity.
The role of Sam Puckett on iCarly brought Jennette her first taste of stardom, and she went on to feature in all six seasons of the show, as well as a spinoff series. On the other hand, when it came time for a new beginning, she famously declined the offer.
At the time of the reboot, it seemed as if Jennette had retired from performing. She said that she had never really had an interest in acting but that her mother had coerced her into it. She said that, as an adult, she feels “ashamed” of most of her previous work because she thinks it is “cheesy” and “embarrassing.”
The reason why Jennette chose not to participate in the iCarly
Jennette explains in her book why she chose not to participate in the iCarly remake, and she recalls how she delivered the news to her co-star, Miranda Cosgrove.
Jennette asserts that she informed Miranda that she would not participate in the relaunch. “I’m not doing the reboot.” “There is nothing you can say to persuade me,” she said.
Jennette remembers Miranda remarking, “She tells me that she feels the remake may be a chance for all of us in the cast to ‘get back out there,’ maybe get some other possibilities from it,” while she was talking about the reboot.
In an additional attempt to persuade Jennette to participate in the program, Miranda said that “it’s very nice money.” However, Jennette was of the opinion that “there [were] things more important than money.”
She recalled saying to Miranda, “And my mental health and happiness come under that category,” while referring to herself, “And my mental health and happiness.” “There is an extended period of quiet. It’s one of those rare occasions when I feel like I struck a balance between saying too much and saying too little. I have the impression that I have correctly portrayed myself, and there is nothing in the manner that I expressed myself that I would alter. I feel proud. Our talk comes to an end, and we both commit to staying in contact with one another before hanging up.”
iCarly has aired for two seasons

After the remake of iCarly has aired for two seasons, it seems that Jennette has not altered her mind about returning to the program. Nevertheless, she has said that she is “open to the concept” of making a return to acting in general.
“It amazes me to say this, but have you ever had a thought where you were like, “Oh my my, where did that come from?” What could possibly be causing this? “She explained to Entertainment Tonight how one day she had a fleeting notion of making a comeback in the entertainment industry.
“That moment came to me maybe, I want to say, a couple of months ago, and it went something like this: “You know what? There is a possibility that there is a way for me to take action from a place that feels genuinely healing and empowering; maybe I could compose something for myself.'”
“I have no idea what that thing looks like. She said, “but I’m open to the concept of acting, which seems like progress to me since I had walked away from it so clearly in the past, which seemed significant to me at the time.” However, I’m merely at a different location right now.”
