Manziel soon experienced poor performance , legitimate issues.

Manziel was charged with a misdemeanour assault on Colleen Crowley by a grand jury in Texas. At the time, Manziel denied punching Crowley, but once he complied with legal precedent requirements in the event of termination, the charges against him were ultimately dropped.

In March 2016, the Browns released Manziel, who claimed to have since received a bipolar disorder diagnosis. Manziel said that he twice resisted going to rehab, started “self-sabotaging,” went on a “$5 million bender,” and then attempted suicide. In the documentary, Manziel stated, ” Initially, I accomplish whatever That’s what I wanted to accomplish with my life at the time, spend as much money as I could, and then end it all. ” I can’t remember how long it’s been fantastic either way, it’s been horrible; that’s still up for grabs in a sense question. It’s been a long, long path. “But we’re fortunate.
