21-year resident Khaby Lame becomes an Italian citizen

It has been announced that Khaby Lame, the TikTok user with the most followers in the world, has been given Italian citizenship. The comedian is now 22 years old. He was born in Senegal. Since then, he called Italy his home. That time he was one year old.

Lame, who always stated that he “always felt Italian”. He was presented with Italian citizenship during a ceremony. This ceremony took place on Wednesday, August 17, in his hometown of Chivasso.

Lame told the reporters present at the time that he felt a “huge responsibility for the oath I took. Moreover he was “extremely pleased” with his accomplishments.

Lame overtook Charli D’Amelio in June to become the user with the most followers on TikTok. However, past few months were very eventful for the TikTok star.

Lame was also quick to brag about his supporter base. Moreover, he said, “My supporter base is my family, and I would not be who I am without family.”

“I would never look at them as mere numbers since each individual is somebody with whom I want to develop relationships, both locally and online,” she said.
