Martha Stewart: The Oldest Model of Sports Illustrated

‘Sports Illustrated’s’ pool issue’s oldest cover model is Martha Stewart. Because of the abundance of shows, textbooks, product lines, as well as social media followers she has, the magazine called Stewart “the very embodiment of an influencer.”

In an Instagram post, she wrote, “I am beyond honored to be on the front flap of the @SI_Swimsuit issue.”My credo has always been, ‘When you’ve been through modifying, you’re through,’ therefore I  give reasons, why not take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Regardless of your stage in life, I believe this cover encourages you to push yourself and attempt new things.

Stewart gave up modelling and later stockbroking to start her own catering business, where she created her own recipes. These would serve as the basis for her debut novel, Entertaining, which was out in 1982. In 1990, she established her own newspaper, Martha Stewart Living.

Since then, she has published 98 additional books on lifestyle, hosted a successful talk show as well as radio programme, and created product lines for kitchenware, curtains, and furniture.

She is one of four stars on the bikini cover of Sports Illustrated in 2023. In addition, there are actress Megan Fox, singer Kim Petras, and supermodel Brooks Nader.

 The cover was referred to as “epi” by Sports Illustrated in a tweet.

SI tweeted, “We really meant it when we claimed this year would prove to be spectacular. Stewart’s modelling career began when she was 15 years old. From there, she began as a trading stockbroker, founded a catering company, which eventually developed into an entertainment media company, and finally quit her job. Stewart’s more recent social media modelling has drawn attention, especially for a selfie she posted in 2020 of himself in a pool.
