Gaspard Ulliel who was a French actor and supposed to star in Marvel’s upcoming television series Moon Knight died at the age of 37.

He died on Wednesday after a skiing accident in the Alps, according to his family.

Gaspard Ulliel Career Background:

Ulliel is a well-known French actor who starred in films such as It’s Only the End of the World and Saint Laurent, a biography of the French fashion designer.

On Tuesday, the actor collided with another person while skiing in the Savoie region of France.

He was evacuated to a hospital in Grenoble where he died the next day after suffering severe head trauma.

However, Nobody took the other skier to the hospital, and police are investigating.

Ulliel had a modeling career in addition to becoming a movie star. Martin Scorsese directed him in a 2010 television commercial for the Bleu de Chanel fragrance as the face of the scent.

After learning his fellow’s death, he tweeted, “Broken heart.” He said “Gaspard was a personification of goodwill and kindness. Talent as well as beauty.”

 

 

 

In 2016, Ulliel appeared at the Cannes Picture Festival alongside Lea Seydoux, Marion Cotillard, Xavier Dolan, Nathalie Baye, and Vincent Cassel. They were together to promote their film, It’s Only the End of the World, which was in competition.

Ulliel discussed the differences between the two films in an interview with IndieWire in 2014.

 

“I didn’t notice the other film until after we finished shooting,” he explained. “I recall being apprehensive when I first arrived at the theatre. Somehow,  I realized how different they were. They’re two films with two very different visions, and they never truly meet.

 

“Both films are, in some ways, legitimate. Perhaps this is the most appropriate way to honor Saint Laurent’s variety.

 

“I think Pierre Niney did a fantastic job, and I’m happy that he suggested something completely different from what I had planned.”

 

He stated he “decided very early in the preparation process to put some distance between myself and the truth” and to “nourish this character” with pieces of his own life and personality.

 

A dog bit Ulliel when he was a boy. Subsequently stated that the scar, which resembled a dimple, aided him in his life and profession.

 

Galle Piétri, a model and singer, and his infant son are his only survivors.
