Mikaben: Haitians are Shocked by his Sudden Paris Death

Haitians paid respects to the musician Mikaben on Sunday after learning of his tragic passing throughout a concert in Paris. The singer, whose official title is Michael Benjamin, was performing on Saturday when he reportedly had a heart attack or went into cardiac arrest, frightening the audience when he collapsing as he walking off stage.

Haitians are shocked by the Paris death of singer Mikaben.

He was performing as a visitor of the Haitian band Carimi at the 20,000-seat Accor Center in eastern Paris.

 The venue posted on Twitter that he “died after having a seizure on concert and in spite of medical responders.”

    Social media videos depict him performing before abruptly turning and leaving the front of the stage. When he pass out in front of onlookers, the music stopp, and emergency personnel were summoning. 

Following his passing, tributes flooded in from all around Haiti, and starting on Saturday night, broadcasters and venues played his music nonstop.

 Ariel Henry, the prime minister of Haiti, posted something on Twitter.

 “I’m horrified by the unexpecting death of the young and highly brilliant artist Michael Benjamin ‘Mikaben’.” A significant character in Haitian music has pass away. 

In a meeting with both the Miami Herald newspaper, the Fugees’ Wyclef Jean, a rapper of Haitian descent. It referred to him as “one of the most impactful and powerful new artists of our generation.”

He posted a video of him and Mikaben together with the words “Rest in peace” as a tribute on Twitter. “Gone too quickly.”

Mikaben was praising as “one of the most outstanding artists of his generation.” according to the former Haitian president Jean Henry Céant. His death was “a shock to the country.” according to singer Tamara Suffren in a special transmission by Magik9 radio, a state beset by security and health challenges. 

Mikaben, the well-known singer, songwriter, and producer from Port-au-Prince.

He sent a video to his or more 1 million fans on Instagram on Saturday within the Accor Arena. Grinning and thanking the audience. His expectant wife Vanessa thanked everyone for their concerns but pleaded for privacy in a post.”I’m not in a position to speak. She commented, “I misplaced my entire half and am speechless.
