Myths come then go, but some remain ingrained in the GTA’s fabric. The ridiculousness of the franchise’s mythology spawned an entire community of myth-hunters.

Michael dies in one end, Trevor dies in another, but everyone survives in the final ending. Many gamers, however, believe there should be 4 endings because Franklin is the only one that dies.

Because of an AMA on Reddit featuring Lamar’s voice actor, this idea has gained a lot of traction. He mentioned in the AMA that Lamar was meant to have a bigger role, but that a scheduling constraint prevented it.

Some GTA 5 fans anticipated Lamar would take Franklin’s place as the main character. Lamar and several pedestrians have their own voice lines, indicating that he was given some thought as a featured player, whether temporarily or not.

Ghost Car

The Mount Chiliad Mystery is indeed the greatest myth in all of GTA 5.

The Mount Chiliad Secret is the definitive myth in the Grand Theft Auto franchise for newer fans. It has remained unresolved to this day, as well as some fans believe the whole thing is an intricate hoax perpetrated by Rockstar to spend precious time of inexperienced players attempting to unearth something vital within the game. In comparison to other myths, this one has been scientifically verified to exist, but the complete context is still unknown.

It’s easily the largest myth in all of GTA 5, but whether or not the riddle has been answered is up for discussion.

Some gamers have ruined the notion by claiming that fulfilling the story will unlock a GTA 6 demo, demonstrating how readily the myth can be distorted in the present world.

It could simply be an allusion to the Illuminati, or perhaps something more significant. Bigfoot’s popularity in GTA reflected that of the fabled beast in the real world; everyone was looking for him at the time. Of fact, Bigfoot did not even exist in GTA San Andreas at the time, but that didn’t stop gamers from fooling each other using mods and other tricks. Bigfoot was a big part of that for GTA San Andreas games in the early days of YouTube.

Fans of Bigfoot will be happy to know that the mythological creature has finally appeared in Grand Theft Auto 5. The gamer might even take on the role of Sasquatch.
