National Beer Day: One of the Most Popular Beverage Day

On Friday, one of the world’s most popular beverages will be celebrated. According to the National Day Calendar, National Beer Day honors the world’s third most popular drink, after water and tea. It also claims that beer goes back to 9500 BC.
Happy National Beer Day!
National Beer Day can be observed by drinking responsibly with friends and tasting new brews from a brewery such as Blackwater Draw Brewing Co. One of the owners, Chris Weingart, began brewing beer as a pastime. In 2013, he co-founded Blackwater with Chris Steele. They want to make something for everyone. Dark stouts, light pilsners, tangy sours, and various IPAs are on the menu.
“We make just about anything you can think of,” Weingart remarked. Weingart describes the procedure as a labor of love. From grain to glass, it takes around one day to brew the beer and, on average, two to six weeks to ferment and condition the beer before it is ready to serve. Producing new ones, like producing beer, takes time, and honing recipes can take years.
“Not a single one of these was done correctly the first time,” Weingart added. “We’re always working on it, trying to perfect the beer. ” Weingart enjoys beer’s versatility and how it can be matched with nearly any type of meal. According to him, Blackwater Draw’s Hazy Lady is a single-hopped IPA that goes well with salads and vinaigrettes, as well as spicy meals like crawfish and étouffée.

The brewery’s brown ale, pairs well with grilled meats, pork, and hamburgers. Weingart advises not to be concerned if you accidentally pair your beer with the wrong thing. “You should finish your beer and try again,” Weingart said. Weingart advises persons of drinking age who are new to beer to be curious because there are many things to try. According to Weingart, it’s also important to be responsible and drink beer flights so you may sample many things at once.
For those visiting Blackwater, the brewery owner recommends lighter lagers. Spring Lager, Border Town, and Mulligan are a few examples. Visit Blackwater Draw’s website, Facebook, and Instagram to discover more about its beers.
