The ‘Russian Doll’ is a TV series that was first premiered on Netflix on 1st February 2019. It has been 3 years till it started but this tv series is still famous and still on the trends. It came with its first season in 2019 and won hearts of a massive audience. This forced the directors and producers to think for a while and come up with season two of this series in 2022. The first season won four Primetime Emmy Awards and hoping to win more and more after second season. This series was basically created by Natasha Lyonne, Amy Poechler and Leslye Headland. These three ladies union showed that women can conquer the world if they get united. There success is the prove that women can also excel in media industry like men directors and producers.

The story basically circles around the main character ‘Nadia.’ This character is being played by Natasha Lyonne, the creator of the series. The main theme of the story is about dying again and again and starting life many times. Well, in this series the job of the main lead, Nadia, is the game developer. She loves to do experiments with herself. She believes in adventures. In this story, she makes a time loop and than find her own self the victim of it. She find herself dying again and again and than ultimately feels herself in the womb of her mother being pregnant. This is a comedy and thriller drama series.

The drama ‘Russian Doll’ is named so for a basic reason. This is basically used as the metaphor in the story.

Russian dolls are the decoration pieces that comprises of five sets from biggest doll to the smallest one.
All the four smaller dolls are inserted inside the biggest one. These are the most famous decoration pieces of Russia and has become very famous. So, this is being used as a metaphor for the tv series ‘Russian Doll.’ In which she thinks that dying is much easier than living. Just like these dolls, She also experiences being in the time loop hundred times.
