Although these  seeds are considered to be quite healthy, eating them in excess can cause allergic reactions in some people. From eczema to headaches, sore throats to swelling and redness in and around the mouth, seeds can cause any number of allergies.

2. Abdominal pain:

These seeds are known to be rich in fiber, which is a good thing. But did you know that consuming too much fiber can also cause stomach upset? Too much fiber can cause gas in the body. It is important to be careful when eating pumpkin seeds.

3. Throat can be damaged by:

People who are fond of eating seeds may not like the fact that it can hurt the throat. They can dilate your esophagus when you swallow them. So, if you like pumpkin seeds, make sure you chew them well.

4. Weight gain can be caused by pumpkin seeds:

These seeds are delicious and once you start eating them, you can’t stop, but eating too many of them can lead to unwanted weight gain as they contain a good amount of fat and are high in calories. Make sure you don’t eat more than 2 teaspoons of the seeds.

It is said that these seeds can harm some people who suffer from low blood pressure. Pumpkin seeds are rich in potassium, which helps lower blood pressure. So if you really like pumpkin seeds, use them in limited amounts.
