My deepest condolences to his loved ones and supporters around the world,” Gandhi tweeted.
Congress leader Charan Singh Sapra said the state government and Chief Minister need to clarify on what basis Moose Wala’s security cover was removed. “The government has to respond,” he told NDTV.
Sidhu released a song titled The Last Ride on May 15. The song was, however, uploaded to Sidhu’s official YouTube channel, where it garnered close to 10 million views. Many of the singer’s fans noted that the song contained many similarities to how the rapper died. The song was reportedly a tribute to rapper Tupac Shakur (also known as 2Pac, who was shot to death in his car at the age of 25 in 1996). The cover photo for the song was the car Tupac was in that day.
