Phobia is the fear of something it might be situation, nonliving thing or living thing. It is characterized by different distress. It happens due to some worst experience of person and he might be afraid of facing it again.
There are some of the weird phobias you have never heard of.
Nomophobia (fear of losing phone)
Nomophobia is the fear in which person experience anxiety about not having a phone. In this case if person is not being able to use his phone he might face anxiety. This happens with people who are addicted to phone. It’s also fairly common. According to study there are almost 77% cases. In Italy, the group has suggested it the fifth version of DSM (diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorder).
Plutophobia (money fear)
It’s quite interesting kind of phobia. In this case the person is afraid of money. He refrain himself from becoming wealthy. The reason behind this fear is might be a fear of responsibility or getting robbed.
Xanthoiphobia (yellow color fear)
This is the fear of yellow color. Person is afraid of yellow colored things such as school buses or flowers. It’s the most difficult one to overcome because there are lots of yellow colored things that we use to see on daily basis.
Ablutophobia (bathing fear)
The person is afraid of taking bath or washing himself. This phobia most often occurs in kids and can resolves with age. But sometimes it occurs in adults. This fear is the worst because person is all away from hygiene. It may result in bad odor and social isolation.
Omphalphobia (bellybutton phobia)
Person is afraid of touching and seeing his own belly button. They might cover it with bandage and avoid places where it is exposed such as beach.
Pognophobia (beards fear)
Person is afraid of beard and avoids people with beard. In this the person cannot see beard covered faces and find it difficult to have good bond with these people.
