STRESS CAN MAKE YOU FAT-REALLY?

Can Stress Make You Fat?  Know that stress is not the real cause of your obesity

Stress
center of wellbeing

It is believed that depression and stress make a person lean and weak because they are worried, but have you ever thought that it can also be a reason for your weight gain.

If you are suffering from obesity, it is possible that it is due to your mental anxiety, we will tell you how it can happen so that you too can find the real reason of your obesity and get rid of it from the root.

Causes of weight gain due to stress:

 Hormonal influence:

In times of high stress, our bodies produce more of a hormone called cortisol, which is responsible for a number of changes that lead to weight gain. These changes include an increase in the rate at which our bodies metabolise carbohydrates, insulin, and blood sugar. However, when we are under stress, this hormone stops performing all of these things, which is a contributing factor in the development of obesity in humans.

 Fat accumulation:

When we suffer from mental stress, our body automatically starts accumulating fatty acids, due to which fat increases in the body and thus we become obese patients.

 Blood sugar level:

Our blood sugar level shifts, which results in mood swings, anger, and irritation when we are lost in thought for an extended period of time and have a lot of tension going on in our minds at the same time.

 Junk Food:

Depression causes many individuals to cease eating and drinking, and when people are stressed, they often prioritize eating and drinking unhealthy things, and they are typically concerned about trying anything new to eat that is outside of their comfort zone. They want to be diverted and distracted, therefore they choose to eat junk food as a means to that end.
