Between 14 December 2018 and 9 July 2020, the Turkish-produced television series The Protector (Hakan: Muhafiz) was available on Netflix. In total, 32 episodes from 4 seasons were broadcast. Atay Ulusoy, Hazar Ergüçlü, Ayça Ayşin Turan, Okan Yalabak, and Burçin Terziolu, among others, had prominent roles. The Immortals are a small group of people whose aim has been to rule the entire world, particularly Istanbul, for thousands of years. We shall observe that over thousands of years, certain immortals have amassed considerable influence, both economically and politically, and they will attempt to further their objectives by mingling with mankind.
As a “superhero” with unique abilities and tools for hunting the undead, The Protector can be contrasted with this. For thousands of years, guardians have hunted the dead. There is a lot of CGI utilised in the series because it is excellent. Not terrible, but also not excellent, are the visual effects. There was room for improvement in the visual effects. But if you really get into the series, I don’t think it will ruin your mood.
