The Swedish company, Polestar, the world’s leading electric vehicle company, announced the arrival of the Polestar 2 “Fastback” to the UAE, and the company has chosen Al-Futtaim Group to be the exclusive distributor for its vehicles in the region.

Polestar 2 – luxury electric sports car
The Polestar 2 features an unconventional exterior design, a unique driving experience, important and distinctive features for the electric vehicle sector, in addition to an interior design with environmentally friendly materials, a sustainable manufacturing process, advanced technology and a high-performance driving experience.

World’s first car
The Polestar 2 is the world’s first car to feature Google built-in, and is equipped with the Android Automotive operating system that provides a powerful and adaptable digital environment with in-car applications and functions and Google services within the car including the Google Assistant, the Google Maps application and the Google Play Store.
The car also features a digital instrument panel, a distinctive audio system and an 11-inch color touch screen to control all driving functions and bring the interface to life.
Inside the Emirates
In the UAE, the Polestar 2 model range will include three versions, each offering a combination of options and performance. The long-range dual-motor version will be available in the UAE market in 2022, with two electric motors, one for each axle, and a battery with a capacity of 78 kWh, with a total power of 408 hp, a torque of 660 Nm and a driving range of up to 482 km.
There is also the option of the long-range single motor with a battery capacity of 78 kWh, power of 231 hp and torque of 330 Nm and a driving range of 542 km. The total power of the standard single-motor version is 231 hp with a torque of 330 Nm, a battery capacity of 69 kWh and a driving range of 444 km.

The company offers Polestar vehicles to be purchased on its website with an integrated process with physical retail locations known worldwide as “Polestar Spaces” and “Polestar Destinations”, which allow consumers to interact with the brand physically including test drives and meet with Polestar professionals.
