On their own, Tripsters are a group of cute, humanized frogs and mushrooms. But to the people who worked on the project, their new NFT collection is more than just digital art. It’s about culture, community, and making a name for yourself that lasts across the world.

As the co-founder of Tripsters, Jayson Winer is a big fan of what his company does, and he says that what Yuga Labs (the company that made the Bored Ape Yacht Club) does is “magnificent.” “They’re combining communities,” he says. Tripsters are interesting

Tripsters are interesting because they can be used. Psychedelic drugs are given to each person. It was because of this that they were called “Tripsters.” You can use the drugs to “trip” an NFT from a group of NFTs that are compatible with them, making a third, unique token. When you get high, the NFTs look crazy and psychedelic.

Tripsters Senior Advisor, Oskar Kowalski, likens the process of tripping to making fine art by combining two separate pieces of art. To him, it’s like combining a Banksy and a Michelangelo to make a new piece that looks like both of them. The original Banksy and Michelangelo are still yours, though, so you can keep both of them!
