Whoopi Goldberg Under Fire For Latest Remarks Regarding Holocaust

Whoopi Goldberg has come under new scrutiny for comments she made on the Holocaust after receiving criticism for saying the holocaust was not “about race.”

Whoopi Goldberg is under fire for her latest remarks regarding the Holocaust.

The co-host of “The View” asserts in an encounter with the Sunday Times. Which was publishing on Saturday, that the Holocaust “wasn’t originally” motivated by race.

“Keep in mind who they killed first. They were murdering physically rather than racially. They were murdering those they deem to have mental defects. Then they decided to do this,” she stated.

The 67-year-old actress & comedian was rebuffed by Times journalist Janice Turner, who pointed out that Nazi Germany officials targeted Jews with its racial legislation.

Goldberg responded, “Yes, but that’s the killer, isn’t it? ” when Turner underlined that “Nazis viewed Jews as a race? Your oppressor is describing who you are. Why do you think they’re true? They are Nazis. Why should we believe what they say?

 It still isn’t possible to identify a Jew on the street, said Goldberg. “You might locate me. You failed to locate them.

In an interview to promote her new movie “Till,” in which she plays the mother of civil rights pioneer Mamie Till-Mobley. Goldberg made the remarks. The actress’s most recent comments have attracted further online criticism.

ABC News executive Kim Godwin said in a statement that she had instructed Goldberg to take some time off “to contemplate and understand about the consequences of her words.” which led to the suspension of Goldberg for two weeks.
