Following this reorganization, Qatar will have stadiums with capacities ranging from 20,000 to 25,000. However, in developing countries, up to twenty-two brand-new stadiums could be built.

Al Bayt Stadium has a seating capacity of 60,000 people. Its name, bayt al sha’ar, refers to nomadic tents used by nomadic peoples in Qatar and the Gulf region. Moreover, its design, a massive tent structure encompassing the entire stadium, distinguish it. Moreover, designing a sustainable stadium that pays tribute to Qatar’s history is a top priority. Once the tournament is over, Al Bayt will be reduced in size to accommodate only 32,000.

Stadium Al Janoub is located in Al Wakrah, a city in the south of the country. It can hold up to 40,000 people. In honor of Al Wakrah’s fishing and pearl diving history, the stadium was designed to evoke the swaying sails of traditional Qatari dhow boats.

At Qatar’s global hub of excellence, Education City, you’ll find the brand-new Education City Stadium. It is nestled among several top-tier academic institutions.

The stadium’s shape, a jagged diamond that shimmers as the sun moves across the sky, can accommodate up to 40,000 spectators. Nearly half of the stadium’s seating will remain after the FIFA World Cup for usage by college teams.

The new Lusail Stadium in Lusail City is one of the main venues for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and it will also serve as the site of the tournament’s closing ceremony.

Due to Qatar’s dedication to sustainable development, Lusail Stadium will see its repositioned as a community center when the event concludes. It will get complete with schools, shops, cafes, sports facilities, and health clinics.
