WWE response to Sasha and Naomi’s ‘walk out’ of Raw
The WWE has issued a statement in response to Sasha Banks and Naomi’s “walkout” of “Monday Night Raw.”

WWE has issued a statement against the controversy
The company has issued a statement in response to the controversy that occurred behind the scenes on Monday (16.05.22), which saw the Women’s Tag Team Champions legitimately leave the building during filming for the show. According to reports, the pair had issues with the creative direction being given to the storyline. The company’s statement can be found here.

It had been reported that ‘The Mandalorian’ heroine Sasha and her tag team partner Naomi would be participating in a scheduled ‘Six Pack Challenge’ as the main event of the program, however, WWE was forced to adjust their plans and instead went with a singles bout between Becky Lynch and Asuka.
WWE confirmed the following in a statement: “Sasha Banks and Naomi were notified that they would be competing in the main event of tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw as soon as they arrived at the arena this afternoon. “They entered the office of WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis during the broadcast with their luggage in hand, put their tag team championship belts on his desk, and then walked out of the office.
Lack of respect problem
“They argued that their status as tag team champions did not provide them sufficient respect. And despite the fact that they had eight hours to practice and construct their match, they claimed that they were uncomfortable in the ring with two of their opponents. This was despite the fact that they had already competed against these individuals in the past without any negative outcomes.
Further reports

“The live television program known as Monday Night Raw follows a script, and its characters are obligated to fulfill the terms of the agreements they have signed.
“We apologize for not being able to provide tonight’s major event in the stated manner.”
According to a number of different sites’ reports, Banks and Naomi’s disagreements were with the plot ideas, not with their rivals as had been reported.
According to Fightful Select and PWInsider, Banks met with boss Vince McMahon to address difficulties she had with creative ideas, but neither side backed down after the meeting.
It has not been confirmed, however, it is believed that Banks and Naomi exited the building together at the time of the incident. The actual problem was discussed on broadcast, both in the comments and behind-the-scenes segments.
